
August 25, 2008. The HRC calls for applications from Rice faculty for individual and collaborative research fellowships for academic year 2009-10. These fellowships provide one semester teaching-release. Fellowship recipients take part in an informal, cross-disciplinary discussion series to present work-in-progress.
August 11 , 2008. The HRC calls for conference proposals for academic year 2009-10. The HRC calls for conference-funding proposals once each semester to accommodate planning events throughout the academic year, and to alleviate the time pressures generally associated with the spring academic calendar.
August 11, 2008. The HRC calls for workshop development mini-grants. The HRC grants funding to help faculty generate new workshop proposals. Complete workshop proposals (for workshops begining academic year 2009-2010) will be accepted in the spring funding cycle.
July 1, 2008 Congratulations to HRC's Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship Recipients for 2008-10. We welcome the new fellows Diana Bullen Presciutti (Ph.D. in History of Art, University of Michigan), Adrian Weimer (Ph.D. in the Study of Religioin, Harvard University) and Matthew Wilkins (Ph.D. in Literature, Duke University).
